Do you really need hundreds of presets to go cinematic?

The secret isn’t in the number of presets. Presets are just tools and you don’t need 100, 200 or even 50 to create a cinematic look. The truth is, you’ll probably end up using only a few.

In the last few years, photographers have fallen hard for the cinematic look. You won’t always see it in big commercial shoots, but scroll through social media and you’ll find feed after feed dedicated to those rich tones and movie-like vibes—audiences can’t get enough. Want to give your photos the same treatment?

I grabbed my camera for an evening stroll and set out to prove how easily a single preset can turn everyday scenes into cinematic frames.
